The Cullman SHRM will host our monthly meeting this Thursday, August 21st now held at the Cullman Economic Development Agency, located at 200 1st Ave NE, Cullman, AL 35055. The meeting will still be held at 4:30 pm and light refreshments will be served, sponsored by Rockstar Personnel.
Michael Guarino with Ogletree Deakins will be presenting on ADA and FMLA compliance.
Michael is a labor and employment attorney from Ogletree Deakins’ Birmingham, Alabama office. He has a passion for counseling clients through difficult decisions. He places paramount importance on understanding a client’s business and developing tailored solutions that work for each individual client. Michael’s goal is to build a trusted partnership with his clients to help navigate the difficult and ever-changing issues employers face daily.
Michael has a substantial amount of experience defending lawsuits and counseling clients on issues involving leaves of absence, reasonable accommodations, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, OSHA, and wage and hour.
While he has had numerous victories as an attorney, Michael gets the most satisfaction helping his clients avoid litigation through a common sense and cost-effective approach.
