General Members.  General members are defined as non-exempt individuals who devote at least 50% of their time to human resources related functions.  General members may receive recommendation for membership by an active SHRM member.

Associate Members.  Associate members are individuals who do not meet the qualifications of the other classes of membership, but who demonstrate a bona fide interest in human resource management and the mission of the Chapter.  Associate members may not vote or hold an office in the chapter.

Student Members.  Student members are individuals pursuing a course of learning which will lead to employment in the human resources field or closely related profession.  Student members may not vote or hold an office in the chapter.
