The Cullman Area SHRM will host a Health & Wellness Seminar on Wednesday, August 14th from 12 to 1 pm at the Cullman Electric Co-Op in the Grady Smith Room. Lunch will be provided.
The Health & Wellness seminar will be presented by Heidi Pruett, Director of Wellness with HealthMed. This presentation details why body composition is a better indicator of weight and health issues than the traditional use of BMI. Gives a detailed description of the results a body composition test will give you as well as why they are important. As HR typically oversees benefits, it is helpful to increase our knowledge on aggregate data and how to decrease the costs of insurance through healthier behavior.
Members are encouraged to bring a guest to the seminar.
